Waterproof Drawing Pen

All you will need to get started with watercolor painting, outdoors or at the studio! The watercolor box and the brush are quality products that you will keep for a long time. Attention, for courses taking place at the Louvre, make sure to bring a water-filled brush (to be ordered individually, besides the kit), as well as a water-based felt pen if you wish to use a pen rather than a pencil.

This sketchpad is middle weight (120-160 g/m2), which works fine with drawing, but also with watercolor drawing (drawing + a few touches of watercolor). Its hardback makes it convenient when working outdoors. For watercolor drawing, it is not necessary to use watercolor paper, that is more expensive, rather thick, and whose texture can prevent the nib or drawing pen from running smoothly.

Small-sized, this palette knife can be used with oil or acrylic paint to create texture effects on the canvas.

To avoid cleaning the palettes at the studio, we use disposable palettes (you may also bring paper plates or aluminium foil paper!). These work with acrylic and oil paint.
